First trailer for 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' season 3 takes us back to Cousins Beach

Prime Video has finally dropped the trailer for the 11-episode third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty! The series stars Lola Tung, Christopher Briney, Gavin Casalegno, Sean Kaufman, Rain Spencer, Jackie Chung, Rachel Blanchard, Isabella Briggs, and Kristen Connolly.

It’s the end of her junior year of college, and Belly’s looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. Now on the brink of adulthood, Belly finds herself at a crossroads and must decide which brother has her heart. Summer will never be the same…

The trailer features "Daylight" from Taylor Swift's Lover and "Red (Taylor’s Version)" from Red (Taylor’s Version), just like the trailer did. "Daylight" symbolizes Belly's evolving relationship with Jeremiah, while "Red (Taylor’s Version)" describes her love story with Conrad. Both ships are highlighted throughout, and while we will have to wait to see who Belly will choose in the end, one thing is clear: Life’s too short not to spend it with the person you love.

Jenny Han and Sarah Kucserka serve as the showrunners and executive producers. Recurring cast members for the upcoming season include Sofia Bryant, Lily Donoghue, Zoé de Grand’Maison, Emma Ishta, and Tanner Zagarino.

Additional EPs include Paul Lee, Hope Hartman, and Mads Hansen for wiip as well as Karen Rosenfelt. The Summer I Turned Pretty is a co-production of Amazon Studios and wiip.

Based on the best-selling book trilogy from Jenny Han, The Summer I Turned Pretty is a multigenerational drama centered around a love triangle involving one girl and two brothers. It explores the complex bonds between mothers and their children, the strength of lasting female friendships, and the transformative journey of growing up. At its heart, it's a coming-of-age tale about first love, first heartbreak, and the unforgettable magic of one perfect summer.

The final season premieres on Wednesday, July 16.
