The much-anticipated second season of Hazbin Hotel is right around the corner! Fans everywhere will get to witness the continuing adventures of Charlie Morningstar and her friends. They will also explore the interesting rivalry between Vox and Alastor. Not to mention the aftermath of Heaven discovering that redemption is possible.
A new trailer recently debuted, giving everyone a taste of what’s to come. Of course, it also elevated the excitement levels of all followers to new heights. But what exactly did it reveal that has gotten people so wound up? Well, we are going to talk about that right here and now.
Hazbin Hotel, created by Vivienne ‘Vivziepop’ Medrano, stars Hell’s princess, Charlie Morningstar. She’s determined to rescue the vast Sinner population from the annual extermination. To do so, she has opened a rehabilitation hotel dedicated to getting souls into Heaven. Helping out are her girlfriend Vaggie and Alastor the Radio Demon and his minions. Her father, and King of Hell, Lucifer, is also providing his support despite initial reluctance.
Sadly, not everyone in Hell is open to the idea of redemption. And Heaven certainly doesn’t believe Sinners are capable of being rehabilitated. Everything leads up to an epic battle between the protagonists and the head Exorcist, Adam. It ends in Adam dying and the loss of the hotel’s mad inventor, Sir Pentious. In addition, Adam’s second-in-command, Lute, seeks revenge for her commander’s death.

The official Hazbin Hotel Season Two trailer premiered recently on various YouTube channels. It opened with a scene of Heaven’s higher-ups supposedly destroying the Extermination hourglass. That moment was immediately followed by Vox speaking with his associates about an encroaching war. And the intro ended with Charlie screaming at something she saw on television.
Afterward, the sneak peek revealed that Vox plans to achieve a sort of godhood. He intends to do this by waging a war against Heaven. And he means to use the Hazbin Hotel to rally others to his cause. Charlie, luckily, discovers his scheme and aims to stop him, possibly with Heaven’s help. That conclusion stems from the fact that the seraphim Emily is visiting the hotel.
The preview also features moments involving Heaven and its denizens, including the recently redeemed Pentious. Sera, the high seraphim, speaks with the head of Heaven’s army and Adam’s son, Abel. And an aggravated and likely grief-stricken Lute is seen conversing with her deceased former leader. She’s even seen alongside Sera, Emily, and Abel as they approach Hell’s citizens with gifts. Overall, it appears we’re in for a good time with Season Two.
I’m immensely excited for the second season of Hazbin Hotel! This show has captured my attention since the original pilot premiered on YouTube years ago. I love pretty much everything about it, from the characters to the catchy music. And I’ve been ready for more since the Season One finale over a year ago.
Naturally, I’m most excited for what could happen storywise throughout this incoming arc. I’m convinced Lute will do something to replace Abel as leader of Heaven’s military. And something tells me that Alastor and Vox’s rivalry will take quite a turn. Plus, if the crossover announcement remains true, I.M.P. might pop in at some point. We’ll have to wait until Hazbin Hotel returns on the 29th to find out.
