HELLO KITTY Movie Sets 2028 Release Date

A few years ago, news broke about Hello Kitty getting an animated/live-action hybrid movie. Since then, we have heard essentially nothing about it but, according to a recent Deadline report, it is still happening. New Line and Warner Bros. announced via Instagram that the Hello Kitty movie will hit theaters on July 21, 2028. That’s wildly far away, if we are being honest.

But, perhaps they are waiting it out to see what happens with the ever-growing Mattel Cinematic Universe. Sure, Barbie was a big hit. However, all of these other projects could flop and indicate that maybe a Hello Kitty movie isn’t a great idea.

It would be strange to pull the plug considering that Hello Kitty is a very beloved franchise with people who would line up to see it no matter what. All details about this film are under wraps at this time, and it may be another 2 years before we get any more information. Let’s wait it out and see what happens.
