Robert Zemeckis, the Oscar winner behind Forrest Gump , is re-partnering with Tom Hanks and Robin Wright for a new film titled Here, a generations-spanning tale about a home and the people who spend their lives there.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has revealed the first trailer, which showcases Zemeckis' bold decision to shoot the film from one perspective, demonstrating how far technology has come in de-ageing.

The official synopsis, as per IMDb, reads:

From the reunited director, writer, and stars of FORREST GUMP, HERE is an original film about multiple families and a special place they inhabit. The story travels through generations, capturing the human experience in its purest form.

Throughout the trailer, we witness Hanks and Wright go from having their whole lives ahead of them to their old age, all within the same perspective of the house where they build a home.

In less than two minutes, Zemeckis builds a profoundly moving portrait of watching life in motion as people come and go from the home, choosing to stay and to leave and giving us not just one generation's perspective but multiple.

Joining Hanks and Wright are Kelly Reilly, Michelle Dockery, Paul Bettany, Ophelia Lovebond, Ben Wiggins, Leslie Zemeckis, Jonathan Aris, Nikki Amuka-Bird and more.

Here will play exclusively in theaters from November 15.
