Two Timothee Chalamet projects made the cut at last year’s Oscars. Timmy Tim is back again this year—this time for a ping pong movie that’s… not really about ping pong at all. The Josh Safdie flick clinched nine nominations, including for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor. The movie centers around young table tennis prodigy Marty Mauser (Chalamet). It’s a pretty intense ride. Head over to theaters to catch Marty Supreme before March. You can also rent or buy it on select digital platforms.

It’s been some time since we’ve gotten a truly fantastic horror film, and Weapons is near-perfect. This past Halloween ran wild with Gladys around every corner. Amy Madigan is finally receiving her due credit, awarded with a nomination for Best Supporting Actress. The film is both unsettling and cleverly humorous. F1: The Movie is among the blockbuster lineup of movies we got this summer. Capturing the high-speed intensity of the sport, F1 is visually exciting and highly entertaining to say the least. Brad Pitt and Damson Idris are the duo we needed. F1 snatched a total of four Oscar noms. It does feel a little out of place housed in the category for Best Picture, but we’re here for it. Strap in for all the action on Apple TV.

The film is not available to rent or buy just yet, but you can still kick it with the Neytiri in theaters.
