Here's your first look at the final season of 'The Summer I Turned Pretty'

Ever since the second season of The Summer I Turned Pretty came to an end, viewers have been on the edge of their seat waiting for more. Well, yesterday, fans noticed that the official social media accounts for the show changed their profile pictures, immediately sparking suspicion that something was going to drop regarding the third season very soon.

Turns out, they were right and today, the first poster was shared. However, that's not all. Last May, it was announced that the season would debut in Summer 2025 and have a total of 11 all-new episodes. Now, it is confirmed that the release date will be in July.

While we don't have an official summary for the conclusion just yet, we can take a look at the summary of We'll Always Have Summer, which is the last book in the trilogy:

Belly has only ever been in love with two boys, both with the last name Fisher. And after being with Jeremiah for the last two years, she’s almost positive he is her soul mate. Almost. While Conrad has not gotten over the mistake of letting Belly go, Jeremiah has always known that Belly is the girl for him. So when Belly and Jeremiah decide to make things forever, Conrad realizes that it’s now or never—tell Belly he loves her, or lose her for good. Belly will have to confront her feelings for Jeremiah and Conrad and face the inevitable: She will have to break one of their hearts.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, author and showrunner Jenny Han previewed what fans can expect from the new season. "I think they can expect to see Belly really coming into her own and growing in many ways," she expressed.

The second season ended with Belly choosing to be with Jeremiah, but as we all know, a lot can change in 11 episodes. Summer and our return to Cousins Beach cannot come soon enough, let the countdown begin!
