How Much Are ‘Landman’ Stars Paid?

Landman is one of the biggest hits on Paramount+ and of the Taylor Sheridan universe. Season 2 especially saw an uptick in ratings, with 9.2 million streaming views in two days of its premiere; meanwhile, the second season’s finale nabbed 14.8 million worldwide views in just two days. So, do the stars of the show get to benefit from the ratings bonanza of the show? It seems so.

Deadline has just published a report on the salary increases that some of the main stars of Landman will see starting in Season 3. Though series lead Billy Bob Thornton‘s pay rate is not revealed in the report — save to say that he has a separate contract with year-to-year increases, and that will be up for renegotiation in a hypothetical Season 4 — several of the other stars’ new salaries have been revealed.

Demi Moore, for example, will be earning around $740,000 to $770,000 per episode for her portrayal of Cami Miller, the new CEO of M-Tex. Meanwhile, Ali Larter, who portrays Angela Norris, will be earning double what she made before at around $350,000 per episode, per the report. (The report also indicates Larter is getting a talent deal out of it, too.)

Also reportedly doubling their salaries are series mains Jacob Lofland and Michelle Randolph, who portray Cooper and Ainsley Norris, respectively. Their salaries are reportedly hiking to $130,000 to $180,000. Other stars of the show are also getting increases from their prior paychecks, according to Deadline.

Landman is expected to begin production on Season 3 in August, Thornton revealed. The series is produced in Texas and is expected to pick up where Season 2 left off.

The second season ended with Thornton’s Tommy Norris being fired by Cami for disagreeing with her decision to gamble with the company’s (and her own) future. After unsuccessfully attempting to court other investors, Tommy turned to cartel boss Galino (Andy Garcia) for seed money for his own new oil venture, CTT, with Cooper and his father, T.L. (Sam Elliott).
