Jack Black somehow faked his way into a teaching role in the 2003 film School of Rock, turning a group of private school kids into a spectacular rock band. Why couldn't this type of teacher exist when we were in school?

You know about this one. Quinta Brunson's Abbott Elementary is a mockumentary-style TV show that gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look into what goes on at an underfunded Philadelphia public school. It's like The Office but much better. (Hey,... it's just our opinion.)

A group of high school teenagers from different cliques end up spending the day together and bonding during their Saturday detention. They each have a different story to tell, and by the end of the film, the characters see each other (and the world) in a different light. 

Sure, it's hard to imagine Harry Potter ever being real since we're talking about magic, flying brooms, and wands made out of dragon's hair here. However, when you're watching the franchise, all of that goes out of the window. There are bullies, pop quizzes, and a huge battle between the darkness and light during what would be a real student's senior year. What's not to love about that?
