Keanu Reeves is a guardian angel in 'Good Fortune' trailer starring Seth Rogen, Aziz Ansari, and Keke Palmer

Lionsgate has shared the first teaser for Aziz Ansari's Good Fortune. Along with writing, directing, and producing, Ansari stars in the film alongside Seth Rogen, Keke Palmer, Sandra Oh, and Keanu Reeves. 

In GOOD FORTUNE, a well-meaning but rather inept angel named Gabriel (Keanu Reeves) meddles in the lives of a struggling gig worker (Aziz Ansari) and a wealthy venture capitalist (Seth Rogen).

"Keanu's one of these guys who's in pretty rarefied air," Ansari expressed to Entertainment Weekly. "You don't see him around. He's still pretty mysterious. He's one of the few guys who still has this real movie star aura."

He continued to explain that he wasn't originally sure if the actor was the right fit for the role of Gabriel because "That guy just seems like he's on a different planet, you know what I mean? It doesn't seem like we would be able to interact." However, he changed his mind "as soon as I saw him," and Reeves ended up signing on. 

"I couldn't believe it. It just turned the movie into something else, and I was so excited. I'm still excited," he said, noting how the two hung out a few times to get familiar with each other. "He came over to my house. I made him Indian food, and we hung out for a while, and he told me all these stories. And then we went to dinner a couple of times, and I tried to really spend time with him to get to know him a little bit so I could become comfortable around him."
