Keep it CrazySexyCool: The essential TLC playlist

Back in the '90s, R&B groups soared across the radio airwaves. Not only were groups making noise across R&B charts, but they were also influential pop stars as well. Groups had it all—harmonies, choreography, style—and one group that always stood out was TLC.

Group members Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas, and the late Lisa "Left-Eye" Lopes were in their early 20s when they formed TLC. But even at such a young age, the members were always unapologetically themselves and inspired fans to do the same. From party anthems to slow jams, the group's catalog ranged with topics including relationships, liberation, sexuality, mental health, self-worth, and empowerment. Not to mention, fans related to their distinctive personalities: crazy (Left-Eye), sexy (Chilli), and cool (T-Boz).

To celebrate the best-selling US girl group of all time, here are 20 songs that every TLC fan should have in rotation.
