Kendra Wilkinson Sends Blunt Message to Celebrities on GLP-1 Medication

Kendra Wilkinson just sent a blunt message to celebrities about using GLP-1 medication while opening up about her own weight loss journey.

On Wednesday, April 1, the former Playboy model and live-in girlfriend of Hugh Hefner took to Instagram to reveal that she started taking a GLP-1. Kendra, 40, declared in the accompanying video, “I am so excited that I’m starting my GLP-1 journey today with Effecty.com.”

She then boldly pointed out, “Unlike most people, I’m being honest with this journey.”

In the caption, the former Girls Next Door reality star added, “Starting my GLP-1 journey and being really intentional about how I do it

. For me, it wasn’t just about weight… it was about feeling better, having more energy, and actually trusting the process instead of rushing it. I wanted something that felt transparent, supportive, and realistic for my lifestyle.

Wilkinson concluded, “This is just the beginning, but I’m excited to share how it goes and what I learn along the way.”

In the comments, Kendra’s fans and followers lauded her for her honesty about starting a weight-loss drug. Amber Lancaster, a model on The Price Is Right, wrote, “We love an honest queen

.”

Another follower exclaimed, “I love this transparency

. I’m so excited for you!”

Someone else echoed, “I’m so proud of you, Kendra, and you rule with your GLP-1 journey!!

A different fan shared, “Love you! You are beautiful as you are, but excited for this journey for you!”

Meanwhile, yet another Instagram user commented, “Good luck on your journey, hope it’s a healthy, safe one.”

Wilkinson starred in The Girls Next Door from 2005 to 2009 alongside Hefner and his two other live-in girlfriends, Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt, at the Playboy Mansion. After that, she starred in Kendra from 2009 to 2011, Kendra on Top from 2012 to 2017, and Kendra Sells Hollywood from 2021 to 2023.
