Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show was viewed by upwards of 100 million people, so naturally there were some sharp eyes out there setting out to determine every square inch of his wardrobe and how much it was all worth.

There was no shortage of custom or store-brand clothes on Lamar's person, ranging from his $170 Nike shoes to his $1,000 Celine jeans to his customized jacket with his name and the name of his production company printed on it. But one item he wore not only blows the rest of his wardrobe out of the water, but costs enough to pay for an entire house.

According to The US Sun via DailyMail.co, the massive silver "A" chain that Lamar wore on stage cost an ungodly $1.2 million. Per the report, the necklace contained 240 diamonds on it - a total that would jack up the price on just about any piece of jewelry.

Some have speculated that the chain was partially a dig at his longtime rival Drake, who he referenced on a couple of occasions during his performance. He used the lyric "a minor," which viewers then noticed the lowercase "a" on.

The end result was a performance that got all of social media buzzing if only to express how delighted they were to see him go after his longtime rap rival like that.

"OMG…..OMG…… @kendricklamar did it. Not only did he rock the beat of “Not Like Is”……he sang the lyrics. He did it. Mentioned “Drake” by name too. Awwwww Damn! Helluva halftime show. The brother showed out.#Salute!" ESPN's Stephen A. Smith wrote during the show.

"Kendrick putting Drake on blast at the Super Bowl might be the only time I can remember the entire crowd screaming during a halftime show lmao," another user wrote.

"Do you know how hilarious it is that Kendrick Lamar wore a lowercase “a” necklace and made millions sing “A-MINOR” #SuperBowl," a third remarked.

It was truly a halftime performance for the ages and given that FOX reported that a record-setting number of people tuned in, it may be ingrained in our memories for many years to come.
