Kenneth Choi supports his '9-1-1' co-star Jennifer Love Hewitt and her upcoming 'I Know What You Did Last Summer'

9-1-1's Kenneth Choi is showing some love to his "TV wifey," Jennifer Love Hewitt, as we approach the release of Jennifer Kaytin Robinson's I Know What You Did Last Summer. Hewitt will be reprising her iconic role as Julie James from the 1997 film and 1998 sequel, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer

When five friends inadvertently cause a deadly car accident, they cover up their involvement and make a pact to keep it a secret rather than face the consequences. A year later, their past comes back to haunt them and they’re forced to confront a horrifying truth: someone knows what they did last summer…and is hell-bent on revenge. As one by one the friends are stalked by a killer, they discover this has happened before, and they turn to two survivors of the legendary Southport Massacre of 1997 for help.

"Hello Instagram world, I'm a little sad today. I miss my TV wifey, miss Jennifer Love Hewitt," the actor expressed. "If only there was a way I could see her beautiful smiling face to cheer me up."

Spoiler alert: there was. Choi focuses the video on a poster for Hewitt's upcoming movie, making sure to show the release date as a way to encourage fans to see it.

Freddie Prinze Jr. will also be returning to the role of Ray Bronson for the legacy sequel. New cast members include Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, Sarah Pidgeon, Billy Campbell, Gabbriette Bechtel, and Austin Nichols.

I Know What You Did Last Summer hits theaters on July 18. As for 9-1-1, the series will return on Thursdays for its ninth season this fall on ABC with both Choi and Hewitt coming back.
