Kevin Hart set to host new 'Hart to Heart' talk show for Peacock

Kevin Hart is operating with more than 24 hours per day.

It sounds impossible, but it has to be true.

How else does one man have the ability to do so much at once?

Peacock has unveiled Hart to Heart, a talk show hosted by Hart and aimed around honest conversations with celebrities in his wine cellar.

"Welcome to my first-ever talk show," the 42-year-old actor, standup comedian and producer says in the 15-second teaser. "Now I know what you're thinking. You're like, 'Oh, Kevin, it's just a talk show. No big deal.' Wrong, people! We're gonna get to know one another. We drink wine here. We're gonna have a heart-to-heart."

Hart expanded on that sentiment in a statement (h/t E!): "There's something powerful that happens when two people sit down together for a conversation, and Hart to Heart is about capturing that magic. I couldn't be more excited to see the next chapter of Laugh Out Loud's partnership with Peacock come to life with this show, and for audiences to get to see my guests in a way that they've never seen them before; it's real, authentic dialogue over a glass of wine."

Hart's Laugh Out Loud network agreed to a multi-year pact with Peacock in January 2020.

The two-time Emmy nominee also heads up HartBeat Productions, which signed a first-look deal with Netflix earlier this year.

Hart has prior hosting experience, too, through Cold as Balls. TheĀ LOL Network series, created and directed by Michael D. Ratner, also falls under Ratner's OBB Media umbrella.

Hart to HeartĀ will premiere with three episodes dropping to Peacock on Aug. 5, and a one-hour episode will continue to release every subsequent Thursday.
