“We’re goin’ up, up, up, it’s our moment / You know together we’re glowing / Gonna be, gonna be golden.” You know it, you love it, it’s probably stuck in your head again now. Yes, it’s KPop Demon Hunters‘ bona fide hit, “Golden,” sung by the fictional K-Pop band Huntr/x. But the lines between fiction and reality are very blurry these days. And we can officially say that Huntr/x is no longer just a fictional girl group. Nope. Huntr/x performed their hit “Honey” live for the very first time on Saturday Night Live . The girl group has now left animation behind and officially become real. And they did it to save Bad Bunny’s soul. We can think of no better occasion. Like us, Bad Bunny has gone full fandom for KPop Demon Hunter. It’s all he wants to talk about. And daydreaming about the demon-busting gals singing their song makes him way happier than hearing his friends harsh his joy. We can DEEPLY relate. But the joke is on Bad Bunny’s normy friends, Mikey Day, Sarah Sherman, Chloe Fineman, and their boring problems. Because when a demon suddenly attacks during the SNL sketch, it’s only Bad Bunny, bolstered by his knowledge of KPop Demon Hunters, who knows how they’ll survive.
