Everyone was wondering how long KT Rolster would stay at the top of the LCK. This week would be the defining week for KT as they slumped to 0-2. Losing to Hanwha Life Esports was not bad, but the way they lost drew concerns. It became worse for them as HANJIN BRION handily beat them on the final day. HLE has set themselves apart from the rest and also beat T1 this week.

One Talking Point For Each Team

Hanwha Life Esports – Back Where They Belong

HLE were the 2024 LCK winners and won the LCK Cup in 2025. They were second-best for most of 2025 as well. However, they have since lost their way and finished 10th in the LCK Cup this year. The LCK regular season has been a turnaround for this roster as they now sit in first place. Their wins against KT and T1 have cemented themselves as the team to beat.

KT Rolster – Downwards Turn

The KT rollercoaster has gone up for most of the season. However, this week was a downturn. KT went 0-2 and had two awful performances. Is it the start of a major downswing, or is it a blip on the radar? Next week, we will have an answer to that question.

Gen.G Esports – Not Yet Convinced

Gen.G walked away with two series victories this week. However, they were not that convincing. They struggled significantly against KRX and almost lost the series. The DK performance was better as they controlled games one and three. However, the loss shows worrying signs with Kiin struggling to find form.

T1 – A More Promising Week

Despite going 1-1 this week, T1 showed improvement. They had a comfortable win over NS and challenged HLE. Game three against HLE was a disappointment. They need to figure out a better way to play around Aurora; teams like Gen.G and HLE will punish them. Their game two in that series, however, was a masterclass in teamfighting from T1.

Dplus KIA – More of That From Siwoo

Siwoo’s performance in game two against Gen.G was exceptional. He single-handedly took control of that game for DK. It was the only reason why DK took a game off Gen.G in that series. Besides that, DK had a mildly convincing win over BFX, who played with two roster swaps.

Nongshim Redforce – Diable’s New Home

NS picked up Diable, following his disciplinary issues with BFX. They lost the series with him in the roster, but he is not to blame. The entire team did not show up on the day, as they lost their fourth consecutive series to KRX this year.

HANJIN BRION – Redemption Week

BRO was one of three teams to go 2-0 this week. Everyone expected them to beat DNS. However, the manner in which they dominated the series was impressive. It got even better for them as they defeated KT 2-0. They gave KT their second loss of the LCK. Teddy, especially, was exemplary against KT.

FearX – Trading Up?

BFX had plenty of drama to deal with this week. After sending Diable down to the LCKCL and then trading him to NS, they had a lot to do. They had a decent showing against DK, despite their roster changes. Taeyoon impressed against DNS, but how much of that can we take from the game? BFX had a hard-fought bot lane, and they played against the worst team in the league.

KRX – Another Win Over NS

KRX has been NS’s boegy team so far in 2026. They have beaten them in all four meetings this year. Overall, KRX had a strong week. They challenged Gen.G and had a dominant win over NS.

DN SOOPers – Heading For Last

DNS had the ideal week. They played against BRO and BFX. BRO were considered the second-worst team in the league, and BFX had roster swaps. They could not muster anything against either team. They look destined to finish last in the LCK, for the second year in a row.
