LeAnn Rimes Talks Love and Betrayal Regarding Eddie Cibrian Affair 16 Years Later

Looking at LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian today, you would never know those two had a rough start. All you would see are two adults, both happy to be together, very supportive of one another, and enjoying life. LeAnn was married to Dean Sheremet, and Eddie to Brandi Glanville. In 2009, Eddie and LeAnn met while filming the TV movie Northern Lights. She played a pilot, Meg, while Eddie portrayed a police detective, Nate. The chemistry on the screen translated to chemistry in real life, and LeAnn and Eddie began an affair.

Like, I’ve been on both sides of that coin—I’ve been cheated on, too, so I know that feeling… But so many women don’t know what to do with that anger… I was a target that was just easily projected upon. And once I realized that, things got a lot easier. Instead of taking it so personally, it’s like, look: This is not all my pain to carry. I know what I’m responsible for in the situation and making amends for that. But you know, the world’s pain is not mine to carry, and I think that really got thrown at me for a long time.

Eddie and LeAnn got married in 2011 after divorcing their respective spouses. LeAnn’s ex, Dean, moved on with photographer Sarah Silver. Since then, things have gradually gotten better with Eddie and his ex, Brandi.
