Jason Momoa's crush on Lisa Bonet began when he was eight years old, as he told "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in November 2017, and they began dating by 2005 before finally tying the knot in October 2017.
Unfortunately, Wednesday night, the couple jointly announced they "are parting ways in marriage" through Momoa's Instagram.
"We have all felt the squeeze and changes of these transformational times… A revolution is unfolding ~and our family is of no exception… feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring," the statement reads. "And so~ We share our Family news~ That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy ~ But so that~ as we go about our lives we may do so with dignity and honesty. The love between us carries on, evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived."
"We free each other ~to be who we are learning to become…," it continues. "Our devotion unwavering to this sacred life & our Children. Teaching our Children What’s possible ~ Living the Prayer. May Love Prevail."
Bonet, 54, and Momoa, 42, share daughter Lola, 14, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 13.
Bonet also shares daughter Zoë Kravitz — yes, the 33-year-old star actress set to play Catwoman in "The Batman" — with ex-husband Lenny Kravitz.
