Just like a tranquil, glittery breeze, the New York born and bred songbird has returned with her 16th album, Here For It All. Set for release on September 26, 2025, the new album will be her first in seven years since 2018’s “Caution”.
The announcement was subtly made on July 21, 2025, through an Instagram video where she showcased the album’s cover, and a snippet of the title track. The highly anticipated album includes her popular single, “Type Dangerous“. An upbeat, Eric B and Rakim sampled dance track, the song was co-written and co-produced with the mega talented Anderson. Paak. Released in June 2025, the single continues to be well-received. The second single, “Sugar Sweet”, features lyrics and a melodic groove that highlight its sweet and catchy vibe. The album will be produced by long time collaborator, and famed producer Antonio “LA” Reid.
Carey’s prosperous career, which began in the early 1990s, has influenced multiple genres and generations of musicians. As a result, her career has been marked by consistent innovation, chart dominance, and a multifaceted presence as a singer, songwriter, producer, actress, and philanthropist.
