Recently, much to the chagrin of many, CartoonNetwork.com was shut down by Warner Bros. Discovery. Although the site had once featured ways to watch some of our favorite Cartoon Network series, it was much more than that. CartoonNetwork.Com felt like a historical fixture of our internet experience, and we were very sorry to see it go. Still, Max promised that we could watch our favorite Cartoon Network series on Max, both explicitly, in a message to fans, and implicitly, by redirecting CartoonNetwork.Com to Max’s homepage. But sadly, as 2025 begins, Max has removed some of our favorite Cartoon Network series from its platform. Of course, content removal happens all the time on streaming channels, but seeing our favorite Cartoon Network hits dispersed, including Teen Titans Go!, really makes us feel like it’s the end of an era.
Here is the full list of animated series Max has removed from its platform in 2025.
Additionally, the Teen Titans Go! To the Movies which was streaming on Max has also been removed.
Thankfully, unlike other sudden content removals and cancelations we’ve seen in recent history, you can still watch these series in other places. That said, thanks to the recent Max removal, some of these Cartoon Network series are only available for purchase and not via any streaming subscription. In a time where streaming channels are already stacking up cost-wise, purchasing series on top of that can feel like a big smack in the face. You can check out where they’re available at the time of this writing.
It also bears mentioning that season eight of Teen Titans Go!, which includes the 400th (!!!) episode of the Cartoon Network show, remains available to stream on Max. It does seem a little wild to hold onto one season of a series that reached 400 episodes and leave hundreds of its earlier episodes to another streaming channel. But streaming is as streaming does. Sadly, it seems like animated series are the first to get the boot, although, as we’ve seen before, no show is ever truly safe.
We are once again asking for all series to be released on physical media! Thank you.
