Miley Cyrus wants to design something "really, really special" to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of 'Hannah Montana'

Miley Cyrus is trying to come up with some special plans for the 20th anniversary of Disney Channel's Hannah Montana, which premiered back in 2006.

"It's about to be the 20-year Hannah-versary in March," she told SiriusXM's TikTok Radio. "I want to design something really, really special for it because it really was the beginning of all of this that now sits here today. Without Hannah, there really wouldn't be this kind of... this me."

The singer continued to express, "It's so crazy to think, too, that I started as a character that I thought was going to be impossible to shed, and now that's something that when I walk into a space, it's looked at as this sense of kind of nostalgia or something that you have from your childhood, but I've now been as kind of integrated into everyone's life as the character itself. So that's exciting to get to celebrate that."

As for right now, she's promoting Something Beautiful, her new album and film, which is available to watch on Disney+ & Hulu. "My journey began with Disney, and for this project, one I poured my heart and soul into now finding its home here feels like a full-circle moment," the announcement on Instagram read. "These 13 songs and visuals have been my universe and I’m beyond proud to share them with you on a platform that shaped so much of my story."

Next year, she will be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the Recording category.

Hannah Montana concluded after four seasons in 2011 and is also available to stream on Disney+. The rest of the cast included Emily Osment, Jason Earles, Mitchel Musso, Billy Ray Cyrus, and Moisés Arias. It's unclear if any of them would be involved in this anniversary surprise.
