Millie Bobby Brown will be back on Netflix soon! We're talking, of course, about "Enola Holmes 3." The Netflix movie franchise starring Brown as Sherlock Holmes' younger sister is officially in the works and began filming in the United Kingdom.
In addition to Brown returning as Enola, much of the gang returns. That includes former Superman Henry Cavill as Sherlock, Himesh Patel as Dr. Watson, and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria, mother of Sherlock and Enola.
The franchise debuted on Netflix in 2020 when the character, taken from a series of YA novels by Nancy Springer (Sherlock has been in the public domain for a minute), was not well-known. It was Brown's star power as a Netflix personality that helped get things off the ground. "Enola Holmes 2" was a big hit for Netflix in 2022, at least according to their reported viewership numbers. Plus, viewers and critics have been kind to the movies. Getting a third one done makes all the sense in the world for Netflix.
Of course, with due respect to "Enola Holmes," the Brown-related Netflix entity people are most interested in is "Stranger Things." The fourth season of the beloved sci-fi show dropped in 2022, the same year as "Enola Holmes 2." Fans have patiently waited, and watched as the actors playing the kids because less and less plausible portrayers of young teenagers. However, they finished shooting the fifth, and final, season late in 2024, and it will hit Netflix in 2025. Brown is going to be the face of Netflix again here in the near future thanks to "Stranger Things" and "Enola Holmes 3."
