Columbo star Peter Falk‘s daughter, Jacqueline Falk, died at 60 in April — and new details recently came to light about her death.
In late April, Jacqueline’s body was found in a Los Angeles residence, with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner ruling her death a suicide, according to records obtained by People at the time.
Fast forward to June 29, and the Daily Mail obtained an autopsy report that offered new details on the circumstances surrounding her death. Jacqueline reportedly hanged herself in a garage, with police finding her body after her friend asked for a welfare check. The friend reportedly hadn’t heard from Jacqueline since April 20, and it is estimated that she died by suicide on April 22. She was identified by her driver’s license at the scene.
Additionally, several handwritten suicide notes were found taped to a garage wall, although the specifics of their contents were not disclosed. Toxicology testing confirmed that Jacqueline was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of her death.
