We are in the era of OGs teaching newbies how to do things or saving their behinds. In Scream (2022), Sidney and Dewey helped Tara and Sam survive Ghostface. The same is true for Julie James in 2025’s I Know What You Did Last Summer as she gave sage advice and some physical help to keep a group of teens who did something no good alive. Even when it comes to tricks and scammery, the new kids need help from those who laid the foundation. That’s what we are getting in Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, which just dropped a great trailer bringing two generations of magicians together.
The Four Horsemen broke up after some big mistakes and getting sloppy. But now, they are back together again for a new mission with some new tricksters. They are going up against the Vanderberg Corporation, which launders money for arms dealers, traffickers, and other unsavory folks.
The Horsemen and this new collective will come together to take the Vanderberg family down for good. The magic, illusions, and sharp verbal barbs are back again. It’s great to see our faves back in action again while also getting to know a new generation of magicians. And, this won’t be the end of their story because there’s already a sequel in the works. We love a plan!
The film will hit theaters on November 14.
