We are getting more and more One Piece teases for season two of Netflix’s live-action adventure. Although we still don’t have an official release date for One Piece season two, we know it’s coming in 2026. And, hey, 2026 is just around the corner. We recently saw the first One Piece season two teaser trailer and cool behind-the-scenes featurette with new glimpses of all the fun. Now we have our first good look at a critical One Piece season two location, Loguetown. Of course, we also know that One Piece season two is subtitled One Piece: Into the Grand Line. You can check it out below.

Our First Look at One Piece Season 2’s Loguetown

In our first look at One Piece season two’s Loguetown, we see the words, “The Town of the Beginning and the End.” Notably, Loguetown is known as “the town of the beginning and the end” because it was both the birthplace and the site of death for Pirate King, Gol D. Roger—a pirate that Luffy greatly admires as he achieved the status of King of the Pirates that Luffy dreams about so ardently. And, indeed, we see Luffy looking up ardently at the platform where Gol D. Roger was executed. Already, we can tell that the location of Loguetown will have a lot of emotional weight for our main characters.

This rendition of the Loguetown location is also quite beautiful, with the sky indeterminably set at either sunset or sunrise. We love a little poetry in our first looks.

One Piece Season 2’s Loguetown Location, Explained

But what is the One Piece season two location of Loguetown? Well, literally, it’s a major city that’s part of the Polestar Islands in One Piece‘s East Blue. It’s a bustling port town and an important location because it is close to the Reverse Mountain (the entrance to the Grand Line) and is the nearest island to the Red Line, which essentially bisects the world of One Piece. Pirates who need supplies before going on an adventure or entering the Grand Line (where the Straw Hat Pirates are heading in One Piece season two), will need to stop at Loguetown.)

What We Know About One Piece’s Loguetown Arc From the Anime and Manga

More critically to the story of One Piece season two, Loguetown is the setting where, you guessed it, the anime and manga’s Loguetown Arc takes place. This arc sees Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates stop at Loguetown for supplies before going to the Grand Line. There, they encounter trouble in the form of familiar faces like Buggy the Clown and new antagonists like Marine Captain Smoker (teased in the live-action One Piece season one finale), and more.

More About One Piece Season 2

Of course, there’s no telling how Netflix’s live-action One Piece might expand Loguetown’s role and story in season two. For now, all we can say is that Loguetown is looking good and poignant in our first good look at it from One Piece season two.

One Piece season two’s synopsis reveals, “Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, ONE PIECE, returns for Season 2—unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line—a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies. ONE PIECE is a live action pirate adventure created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix.”

The series stars Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Taz Skylar, Emily Rudd and Jacob Romero. One Piece season one is now streaming on Netflix.
