ONE PIECE Season 2 Sets MARCH Release Date

Like we said, Netflix’s live-action One Piece season two will release on March 10. One Piece season two is also called, One Piece: Into the Grand Line.

Will Netflix’s Live-Action One Piece Drop All Its Episodes at Once? Or Will It Have a Release Schedule?

Netflix did not mention any other release dates for One Piece. So we assume that One Piece season two will release all of its episodes at once. It will not have “volumes” or weekly drops.

How Many Episodes Will One Piece Season 2, Into the Grand Line, Have? 

We don’t yet know how many episodes One Piece season two will have. Season one had eight episodes, so season two will probably have around the same.

New One Piece Season 2 Images Celebrate Drum Island and the Release Date Announcement

To celebrate One Piece season two’s release date, Netflix also shared images from One Piece: Into the Grand Line‘s Drum Island location. This island of endless winter has some seriously haunted energy. Co-showrunner, writer, and executive producer Joe Tracz shares, “Drum Kingdom is a winter island. It’s our medieval Winterfell Game of Thrones location, where you have this haunted-seeming castle at the top of a snowy mountain inhabited by someone the villagers say is a witch.” Spooky! It also has many skilled doctors and is the birthplace of Tony Tony Chopper.

In addition to its release date, Netflix has shared the logline for One Piece season two, which notes:

Netflix’s epic high-seas pirate adventure, ONE PIECE, returns for Season 2—unleashing fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line—a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies. ONE PIECE is a live action pirate adventure created in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix.

Tracz also adds, “Everything gets bigger. We are going to see giants and dinosaurs. We end up in the belly of a whale. Basically, our mantra for Season 2 is, ‘scale it all up.’” and sharing, “At the end of the first season, our characters made this pledge around a barrel to achieve their dreams, and in Season 2, we put those dreams to the test. Every island we visit in the Grand Line is going to challenge one of the Straw Hats in a unique way, and they’re going to learn that, to fulfill their dreams, they have to rely on each other.”
