PSYCHO KILLER Trailer Takes You Into a Serial Killer’s Mind

We still have a few months left until 2026, but the horror movie scene is already looking pretty good. The trailer for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple was a vibe and, even though we haven’t seen any footage yet, Lee Cronin will bless us with a remake of The Mummy. And, of course, Ghostface devotees cannot wait to see more slicing and dicing in Scream 7. Now, there’s yet another horror movie to add to your 2026 watch list, and the trailer for Psycho Killer is sadistic and sinister, indeed.

The film stars Georgina Campbell as a Kansas highway patrol officer who recently lost her husband in a brutal homicide. She starts to find the pieces to this puzzle and realizes the killer (James Preston Rogers) is a sadist with an agenda that’s far beyond what she could imagine. The trailer for Psycho Killer gives us just enough of a taste without giving away the whole meal like many trailers do today.

The look of the titular killer is pretty stylish and there are some religious connections as well. And it is nice to see Campbell, whom horror fans recognize from her leading role in Barbarian, back again for more action.

**What Is the Release Date for Psycho Killer?**

Psycho Killer is written by Andrew Kevin Walker, with direction by Gavin Polone. The film will hit theaters on February 20, 2026. That’s two horror movie weekends back to back with Scream coming that following weekend. We love that the month of love is turning red in a different way.
