‘Reacher’ Renewed for Season 5 by Prime Video

Amazon Prime Video renewed Reacher for a fifth season ahead of its Season 4 premiere, ahead of its highly anticipated fourth season premiere.

The upcoming season will once again follow Alan Ritchson’s Jack Reacher as the former military police investigator drifts into another dangerous conspiracy.  Season Four will continue the high-stakes thrill that made the show a standout global hit, as details on the upcoming season are announced at a later date.

According to Prime Video, the series is a bona fide hit. The third season of Reacher reached 54.6 million viewers globally in its first 19 days and stands as the most-watched season on the service since Fallout Season One over the same timeframe. Previous seasons of Reacher are available exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

When will Reacher Season 5 premiere?

Alan Ritchson has officially confirmed that Reacher Season 4 will release on Prime Video before the end of 2026, having wrapped post-production in March. Season 5 can be expected in late 2027 or 2028, possibly.

What book will Reacher Season 4 be based on?

The logline for Season 4 is described as: “Based on the 13th book in Lee Child’s global best-selling series, Gone Tomorrow, in the fourth season of the action-packed series, when a chance encounter with a distraught stranger on a subway goes horribly wrong, Jack Reacher is drawn into a complex and deadly game that pits him against ruthless foes from the highest echelons of power. ”

The first season was based on the debut novel, Killing Floor, which was chronologically the fifth book in the series. Then, Season 2 was based on Bad Luck and Trouble, which was the 11th book to be released and 14th in the chronology. The third season of Reacher was based on Persuader, the 11th book to be released and the seventh chronologically.

Who will star in Reacher Season 5?

As of the writing of this article, only Alan Ritchson is confirmed for the casting of Season 5 as Jack Reacher.

In Season 4, Ritchson will be joined by a slew of newcomers. New to the cast for Season 4 include Chris Marquette, Sydelle Noel, AGNEZ MO, Anggun, Kevin Weisman, Marc Blucas, Kevin Corrigan, and Kathleen Robertson.

What else is there to know about Reacher?

In addition to renewing the action series for Season 5, Amazon also announced a series order for a Reacher spinoff, Neagley, which will feature Maria Sten returning to that role.
