Robert Pattinson debuts as Batman in main 'The Batman' trailer

Warner Bros. Pictures dropped its main The Batman trailer over the weekend, giving fans a feel for what can be expected from Pattinson in the titular role:

Directed by Matt Reeves, the movie also stars Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman/Selina Kyle and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.

Pattinson, 35, touched on the magnitude of taking on Batman/Bruce Wayne while at the grand opening of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Sept. 30.

"I mean, it's a strange feeling," the former Twilight star told ET Canada on the red carpet. "I have moments when I was shooting when you just catch a glimpse of yourself in a reflection, and you'd be like, 'Wait, am I actually doing this? This is crazy!' But it's been really fun, and it's really exciting so far." The Batman will release in theaters March 4, 2022.
