There are some dreams that you feel like you’ll never fulfill. You probably won’t become a Power Ranger or hang out with the kids from The Midnight Society to tell spooky stories. And, if you’re a fan of A Goofy Movie, you probably won’t get to stay at the Neptune Inn because, well, it doesn’t exist. (Someone should totally build it, though.) But, you can get a chance to be on stage with Powerline in concert, thanks to this virtual reality version of A Goofy Movie’s classic concert scene.
Disney is celebrating 30 years (!!!) of the film by giving fans a chance to rock out with Goofy, Max, and Powerline’s whole crew on stage while he sings “I2I” in a VR concert. And yes, there’s an audience full of adoring fans cheering you on as you soak in all the sights, just like a pop star.
You can watch this video using a VR headset and simply move your head around to see it all or you can tilt your mobile device. It even works on a computer screen, with directional arrows to make it come to life. Now you just have to work on your dance moves and learn Goofy’s “perfect cast.”
Here are some more details about the virtual reality concert experience from A Goofy Movie:
I will never get over how much I love the animation style of this film. In fact, after you hang out on stage with Powerline, you can watch this special documentary about how A Goofy Movie was made. It is truly inspiring, incredibly sweet, and will make you love this adventure even more. Long live A Goofy Movie!
