Sarah Jessica Parker is back as Sarah Sanderson on 'Hocus Pocus 2' set

Twitter has been aflutter with any glimpse possible into the filming of Sex and the City's revival limited series And Just Like That... , but Sarah Jessica Parker has moved on to the set of another highly anticipated reboot.
On Thursday, People shared exclusive photos of SJP in character as Sarah Sanderson as filming starts on Hocus Pocus 2:

Along with Parker, Bette Midler and Kathy Najimy are reprising their Sanderson sister roles as Winifred and Mary, respectively.

Disney Plus revealed additional cast members and plot details earlier this month:

Joining the cast are Whitney Peak, Lilia Buckingham, Belissa Escobedo, Doug Jones, Tony Hale, Sam Richardson, Hannah Waddingham, Juju Brener, Froy Gutierrez, Taylor Henderson, and Nina Kitchen.

"According to new plot details released by the Mouse House, the new Hocus Pocus will pick up 29 years after a teen named Max (played by Omri Katz in the original 1993 film) lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the three 17th-century child-essence-stealing sorceresses," Entertainment Weekly relayed. "Winifred (Midler), Sarah (Parker), and Mary (Najimy) are now looking for revenge when they find themselves back in Salem in the present day. It's up to three high school students, who incite the wrath of the enchantresses, to stop them."

The original Hocus Pocus premiered in 1993.
