Season 2 of 'Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines' will premiere April 9

It's a good day at the Gaines household.

Thursday morning, The Hollywood Reporter's Mikey O'Connell exclusively reported that Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines has been renewed for two more seasons.

"Like season one, which launched with Magnolia parent Discovery’s new streaming service in January, new episodes from season two will be arrive weekly on Discovery+," O'Connell wrote.

He continued: "The premiere arrives April 9 on the Magnolia preview section of the platform. Season three of Magnolia Table is expected to drop three months later, when Magnolia Network officially debuts as a digital network ahead of its COVID-delayed linear launch in 2022. The full Magnolia Network slate, including three complete seasons of Magnolia Table, launches July 15 on Discovery+ and a designated Magnolia app."

Magnolia Network also shared a Season 2 trailer Thursday:

Chip and Joanna Gaines first rose to prominence through reality renovation series Fixer Upper. The HGTV staple ran for five seasons from 2013-18 before the couple decided to end the popular show. However, a reboot was announced last August. Fixer Upper: Welcome Home, also streaming exclusively on Discovery Plus via Magnolia Network, was officially teased Jan. 5:

Chip and Joanna live in the Waco, Texas, area with their five children. The youngest, two-year-old Crew, made an adorable cameo during one Welcome Home renovation job. The other four kids—16-year-old Drake, 14-year-old Ella, 12-year-old Duke and 11-year-old Emma—made several appearances on the original hit series.
