Selena Gomez values Taylor Swift's opinion because "she's super honest"

She has showed up for me in ways that I would have never expected. Flown in because I was hurt and was going through something. Stuff that was going on with my family. It’s been proven year after year and in every moment of my life that she is one of my best friends in the world."

Gomez made I Said I Love You First with another very important person in her life: her fiancé, Benny Blanco. "Through the creation of I Said I Love You First, Benny and I got to explore so many sides of ourselves as individual people and as a couple," she wrote on Instagram. The couple got engaged in December of last year, and of course, Swift commented in support on Gomez's Instagram announcement post: "yes I will be the flower girl."
