Dakota Johnson hosts Saturday Night Live tonight for her third time, with rock band Turnstile making their debut as musical guest. The episode airs live at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC and streams simultaneously on Peacock.

What to know about tonight’s SNL Oct. 3 episode

Johnson, whose film “Verity” hits theaters on Oct. 2, returns for her third hosting stint after previously hosting in 2015 and 2024, according to TVLine. She is now halfway to joining SNL’s exclusive Five Timers Club. This is Turnstile’s debut on the show; the hardcore rock band won their first two Grammys in 2026 and are currently on their Never Enough Tour Pt. 2.

Last week’s season premiere featured Jalen Brunson hosting and K-pop group Katseye performing. Saturday Night Live has added new featured players for Season 52: Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter, who debuted in the season premiere. Chloe Fineman exited the show after seven seasons, and Martin Herlihy departed after five seasons. SNL is back with Dakota Johnson hosting as the momentum continues.
