It is well known that LSU superstar basketball player Angel Reese is a star on and off the court.

Reese is an All-American player, a national champion, and, oh, just the biggest earner in the NIL space in all of college basketball.

During Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” report, SNL cast member Punkie Johnson portrayed Reese, while wearing her jersey, and among topics discussed was her controversial dust-up with Iowa’s Caitlin Clark, and her declining and then later accepting a visit to the White House.

Johnson also poked fun at Reese for how she is making a killing off NIL.

Being interviewed by fellow SNL cast member Michael Che, Johnson had some funny comments on all the endorsements she has — and the potential farcical ones.

“I’m a big deal now, Che,” Johnson said as Reese on SNL. “Since college players get endorsements now, I’m about to cash in, and my brand works for anything.”

Johnson then rattles off fake promo commercials for Degree deodorant and made-up commercials for Garden Gnomes, and Big-Ass Eyelashes. Describing it doesn’t do it justice. Just check out the clip.

As of Monday afternoon, Reese has not commented on the SNL skit on her social media platforms.

Reese has been a hot-button topic ever since she and her LSU teammates won the national championship and her star appeal, brand and game will only grow with the use of her NIL clout.
