Some Marvel stars reveal if they are returning for 'Avengers: Doomsday' at CinemaCon

With so many Marvel stars in Las Vegas for CinemaCon, many ended up being asked about their involvement with Avengers: Doomsday and if we'll see their name on a chair, if we haven't already.

One of the names we did not see was Chris Pratt, who plays Star-Lord, so ET asked the actor if he could make an MCU return: "Of course, we made a promise that legendary Star-Lord will return. We always make good on our promises."

As for the cast list so far, he agreed that it is "stacked," before adding, "I think it's awesome. I love the Russos, I love Marvel, and I love what they're doing, and I'm looking forward to seeing how that shakes out."

There were some original X-Men names, but Halle Berry was sadly not one of them. Her message for fans who want to see Storm come back? "I would tell them, they should keep hoping for that. Keep hoping, keep hope alive, people."

One of the OG Avengers who is coming back is Chris Hemsworth as Thor. He joined Berry in an interview with E! News and commented, "I was hoping [she would return]... I was like, do you know something I don't?"

The cast also currently includes Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Winston Duke, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Pedro Pascal, and Robert Downey Jr.

Pugh and Harbour, who previously starred together in Black Widow, were in attendance for Thunderbolts* and revealed to ET that they have not read a script for Doomsday yet. "I actually have no clue because I haven't read a script," Pugh said. "So I can't leak anything."

"You haven't read one? Oh my God, it's so good, I'll tell you," Harbour joked. "I'm in the same boat, I haven't read a script."

"Do you think it's because they don't trust us?" Pugh asks, and Harbour responds, "You think it's the two of us? Everyone's got them, they're lying to us; it's just the two of them, we'll give it to them on the day."

Harbour then spoke about Downey taking on the role of Victor Von Doom, aka Doctor Doom: "I mean, I'm excited he's coming back." Pugh agreed, adding, "He's OG."

Avengers: Doomsday will hit theaters in May 2026.
