Sonic the Hedgehog 3 – Release Date, Trailer, New Images, Everything We Know

The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 trailer was released today, giving us our first preview of what's to come from the new Sonic film, which fans have been waiting two years for.

Paramount has now also revealed some additional things to tide fans over while they wait for the film's theatrical release in December.

This includes some additional first-look images, an official poster and a synopsis that tells us what to expect as Sonic comes together with Tails and Knuckles as they face off against Shadow.

Starring Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, Krysten Ritter, Lee Majdoub, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, Colleen O’Shaughnessey, Alyla Browne, James Wolk, the story comes from Pat Casey and Josh Miller, with John Whittington joining them on the screenplay.

Jeff Fowler, who directed the first two films and the Knuckles series returns as director, and he serves as executive producer alongside Haruki Satomi, Shuji Utsumi, Yukio Sugino, Tommy Gormley, and Tim Miller.
