Taylor Swift is ready to start her next era, and she's sharing all of the details on the New Heights podcast with boyfriend Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce this Wednesday at 7 PM ET.
However, before then, a new sneak peek clip was released on Tuesday, August 12, at 12:12 AM to celebrate her upcoming 12th album. While we don't have the cover artwork just yet, since it was blurred out in the video, we can assume the color palette includes a focus on orange and green. As for the name, the album is called The Life of a Showgirl.
Swift currently has the album available for pre pre-order now, with purchase options including a vinyl, cassette, or CD and poster. The description shares that the merchandise will ship before October 13 of this year; however, it makes sure to note that this is not the official release date. This shouldn't be a surprise because the singer/songwriter will definitely have some fun with her fans to reveal that crucial piece of information.
Prior to the news, Taylor Nation teased T12 on social media with 12 orange-themed photos of Swift performing during The Eras Tour with the caption, "Thinking about when she said 'See you next era…'"
This morning, billboards for the new album were seen in New York City and Nashville, which led fans to the artist's new Spotify playlist, titled "And, baby, that's show business for you," consisting of 22 different Swift songs from Red, 1989, and reputation, also including deluxe versions and Taylor's Version.
All of this comes after Swift officially took ownership of all of her master recordings back in May after re-recording her music with Fearless (Taylor’s Version), Red (Taylor’s Version), Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), and 1989 (Taylor’s Version).
