'Ted' gets high and stupid in hilarious Season 2 trailer

That TED season two trailer is wicked hilarious. Somehow, an angry dad from Massachusetts whipping a talking teddy bear at his fleeing teenage son isn’t even the funniest part. (That title goes to the part with the censored video. We’re usually anti-censorship, but in this case we approve.)

This TED trailer isn’t the only tease we got for the show’s second season. Peacock also shared another batch of images.

The trailer and photos give us a pretty good idea of what to expect from this season’s new episodes of TED. But for those who aren’t familiar with TED, the season’s official synopsis provides a good general overview.

It’s 1994, and senior year of high school is underway for Ted the foul-mouthed teddy bear and his best friend, likable but awkward John Bennett. Together they live in a working-class Boston home with John’s parents (Matty and Susan) and cousin (Blaire). Matty is a blustering, blue-collar Bostonian who sees himself as the unequivocal boss of the house and doesn’t like anyone challenging him, particularly his liberal-minded niece. Susan is kind, selfless, and almost pathologically sweet when it comes to caring for her family. Blaire is an outspoken college student who often finds herself at odds with her more traditional-minded relatives.

Director Seth MacFarlane, the voice of the loyal, vulgar titular teddy, also serves as executive producer, writer, and co-showrunner. As do Paul Corrigan and Brad Walsh. The series also stars Max Burkholder, Alanna Ubach, Scott Grimes, Giorgia Whigham 

Will John find a way to get as lucky as Ted (seemingly) will in season two if the trailer is anything to go by? Kid, we-ah gonna find out when all eight episodes debut at Peacock on Thursday, March 5, 2026.
