This year started with a bang, with a lot of high-profile video games already out in stores. The trend will continue in March, which has fans waiting for highly anticipated titles like Dragon’s Dogma 2, Princess Peach, and Rise of the Ronin. Here are all the biggest games releasing across PC, console, and mobile in March 2024.

The Mobius Machine

The Mobius Machine looks like an interesting Metroidvania set in an interconnected world. Open-world metroidvanias can get complex really fast, and sometimes that can be a good thing. Run, jump, and shoot in The Mobius Machine when it releases on March 1 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

The Outlast Trials

The Outlast franchise is going in a weird direction with this one. After two successful, atmospheric, single-player horror games, The Outlaws Trials is setting its sights on a trend that will disappoint veteran fans - co-op multiplayer. The game has been in early access for over a year now, with positive reviews from people who’ve played it, so here’s hoping it ends up satisfying those fans. The horror game releases on March 5 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game

Expeditions will combine off-road driving with sci-fi elements to deliver something new in the genre. The game, developed by Saber Interactive, will let you drive heavy vehicles while deploying a variety of drones and other high-tech equipment to study the environment. The off-road adventure begins on March 5, 2024, for PC on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Unicorn Overlord

Unicorn Overlord is a tactical RPG from Vanillaware, the makers of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. The game has been in development for almost a decade, but it’s just within our reach. Unicorn Overlord takes place on the continent of Fevrith. You play as Alain, a prince of Cornia who must raise the flag of rebellion against Cornia’s General Valmore. The game also features online PvP battles so you can prove your mettle against others. It releases on March 8 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch consoles.

WWE 2K24

This one needs no introduction. 2K24 will be the tenth game in the series by 2K, with Cody Rhodes as the cover star. The game will celebrate 40 years of Wrestlemania, with new match types like Guest Referee, Casket, Gauntlet, and Ambulance. The wrestling game arrives in stores on March 8 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.

Contra: Operation Galuga

Konami is bringing back Contra with new additions such as a 4-player co-op in its arcade mode, along with a new visual style. Operation Galuga will include updated graphics, new levels, new sound effects, and an updated weapons system. You can try out a demo of the game to get a feel for the run-and-gun combat. The game releases on March 12 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Outcast: A New Beginning

The sequel to 1999's classic open-world game has been in the making for a long time, but soon you'll be able to fly the skies of Adelpha. An open-world game with aliens, jet packs, and guns? Count us in.  A demo of the game is also currently available letting you experience a bite-sized chunk of the story and the world. Outcast: A New Beginning releases on March 15, 2024 for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Hi-Fi Rush

After weeks of leaks and rumors, Hi-Fi will finally arrive on PS5 consoles this March, which may be a perfect match for it. Playing a rhythm game with a DualSense controller is always immersive, and Hi-Fi Rush's energetic action would lend well to Sony's console. In a year full of excellent releases, Hi-Fi Rush managed to be memorable, and it's now coming to a larger audience. Hi-Fi Rush releases for PS5 on March 19, 2024.

Alone in the Dark

No, not Alone in the Dark from 1992. The new game is a reboot of the franchise, starring Stranger Things' David Harbour and Jodie Comer in lead roles. Players will be exploring the iconic Derceto Manor once again, which has been completely remade this time, and with a third-person over-the-shoulder camera view. Alone in the Dark releases on March 20 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile

Yes, Call of Duty Warzone is still not available on phones. We also thought it was already ported, but somehow Activision's biggest money-maker is still not portable. The mobile port will feature both Verdansk and Rebirth Island, with support for 120 and 48-player matches. Fan favorite modes like TDM, Domination, and Kill Confirmed will be available at launch. Warzone Mobile drops onto the app stores on March 21.

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition

Aloy's journey to the West will be available for PC players to experience this month. The Horizon franchise is famous for releasing right before major games that steal its thunder, and the same applies to this PC port when Dragon's Dogma 2 releases just one day after. Well, at least we hope it will have good performance, as Sony's recent PC ports have been doing well. Running this game beyond the graphical capabilities of PS5 is going to produce some gorgeous results. Horizon: Forbidden West releases on PC on March 21, and will include the Burning Shores DLC expansion.

Dragon's Dogma 2

Dragon's Dogma 2 might just scratch the itch left by Elden Ring. The long-anticipated sequel will take place in an alternate universe, so don't worry if you haven't played the first game. DD2 will feature new vocations to master, and let you choose a personality for your pawn. We can't wait to face off against enemies like Talos and the Sphinx when it releases on March 22 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Princess Peach: Showtime!

They say opposites attract, which is probably why they decided to release both Princess Peach: Showtime! and Dragon's Dogma 2 on the same day. Peach has a massive fan base already, including Brie Larson, so we don't really need to tell you why it's on this list, do we? In her first stand-alone game in what feels like forever, players will control multiple versions of Peach as she gains new abilities and avatars across different levels. Princess Peach: Showtime! releases on Nintendo Switch on March 22.

Rise of the Ronin

If you liked Ghost of Tsushima and are a fan of Team Ninja's games, then you should be excited for Rise of the Ronin. The game, set in the Late Edo period of Japan, takes the combat mechanics of Team Ninja's games and lets you play with it in an open world. While it will have an intriguing story for you to follow, you'll also be able to join your friends in its PvE missions. Rise of the Ronin releases on March 28 exclusively on PS5.

South Park: Snow Day!

South Park games are always a welcome addition, but this one might benefit from a delay. No, not because it looks buggy or something. It’s because it features Eric, Stan, Kenny, and Kyle engaging in snowball fights, and it’s releasing in March. Okay, maybe it’ll be relaxing on a hot summer day, we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s also the first game in the series to feature online co-op, so that’s something to look forward to. South Park: Snow Day! releases on March 26 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

Open Roads

Wow, that's a lot of games releasing in March. How about finishing the month with a relaxing experience? Open Roads is an interactive thriller with classic road trip vibes. Not our words, that's how the developer describes it. The first-person adventure will let you immerse yourself in Tess Devine's road trip with her mother as she uncovers new secrets of abandoned properties. Annapurna Interactive has used the power of its film division to gather a star cast, including Keri Russel and Kaitlyn Dever. It releases on March 28 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch.
