Will there be a season five of The Boys? You betcha, as Eric Kripke and Anthony Starr teased The Boys season five in a new interview, as per Collider, where they revealed that they'll be getting back on set sooner than you think.

"We start shooting a week from Monday. That's less than two weeks," Kripke told the media during an FYC event for the latest season.

Karl Urban revealed when The Boys season five will air back in July, revealing that we'd be waiting until 2026 for the final chapter of the series that first aired in 2019.

Kripke was emotional about the show ending, saying, "I think somewhere in the middle of the season, it's gonna hit me and hit me really emotionally. I've been willfully denying it. It hasn't totally sunk in. That will be hard."

With the show having been on the air for seven years, it's no mystery that the cast and crew will have a tough time saying goodbye.

Starring Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, and Colby Minifie, The Boys official synopsis reads:

The Boys is a fun and irreverent take on what happens when superheroes—who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians, and as revered as gods—abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. Intent on stopping the corrupt superheroes, The Boys, a group of vigilantes, continue their heroic quest to expose the truth about The Seven and Vought—the multibillion-dollar conglomerate that manages the superheroes and covers up their dirty secrets. It’s the seemingly powerless against the super powerful.
