To celebrate the release of The Killer’s Game on digital, we’ve got a new behind-the-scenes clip.
Shared exclusively with Men’s Journal by Lionsgate, the featurette is called Best Action Doesn't Come from One Person, and it showcases the incredible stunt work that went into the Dave Bautista action-comedy.
As you can see below, people with diverse backgrounds came together on The Killer’s Game, from kung-fu champions to breakdancing wrestlers.
“We don’t want to repeat what other people have done,” says stunt coordinator Justin Yu. “We don’t want to repeat what we have done.”
That commitment to novelty results in several spectacular stunt-filled set-pieces, including a sword fight in a pounding club, and an all-out brawl in a museum filled with various historical weapons and implements.
As per the synopsis, “When top hit man Joe Flood (Dave Bautista) is diagnosed with a terminal illness, he decides to take matters into his own hands – by taking a hit out on himself. But when the very hit men he hired also target his ex-girlfriend (Sofia Boutella), he must fend off an army of assassin colleagues and win back the love of his life before it’s too late.”
The Killer’s Game arrived on premium video on demand, and premium electronic sell-through on October 4.
