'The Mandalorian and Grogu' meet 'Family Guy' in crossover promo
Grogu in his floating pod at the Griffin family kitchen table with Family Guy's Stewie Hulu

Did you know that a new Star Wars movie is coming to theaters this month? It seems almost impossible anyone wouldn’t since Din Djarin and his little green son are everywhere these days. The Mandalorian and Grogu is doing tie-ins and cross promotions with just about everyone and everything. That includes people who aren’t even real. The duo made a fun little stop in Quahog, Rhode Island for a meeting of iconic pop culture babies. And this very silly meeting between The Mandalorian and Grogu and Family Guy showed which famous child is more powerful.

In this double Hulu commercial, the (new?) Razor Crest dropped its 50-year-old toddler off at the Griffin family kitchen table. There the famous green child showed Stewie that using the Force is much harder than Grogu makes it seem.

If the ad ended there it would have been good. But then it got even better. The always hungry Grogu had to made sure that Peter didn’t get his grubby hands on the Child’s snackies. He didn’t need to use that Force for that, though. That floating pod continues to be a great way to both float and keep yourself safe.

This is obviously not the first time the Fox animated series has made itself a part of the galaxy far, far away. It’s not even the first time Family Guy has had some fun with The Mandalorian. But usually the show sends Quahog’s residents (and its parodies) towards the galaxy far, far away. What makes this one fun is seeing Grogu spending some time Rhode Island with Stewie from Family Guy.

We’re confident he had plenty of great seafood while he was there. (The state’s roe situation is likely dire right now.) But we hope he had the Rhode Island delicacy known as hot wieners that he washed down with coffee milk. And now that we mention it. we fully expect to see The Mandalorian and Grogu versions of both very soon.
