The Pokémon Fossil Museum is finally making its way to the US. This wildly popular Japanese exhibition pairs real-life fossils of dinosaurs and other beings with man-made ancient Pokémon ones that resemble them. It’s a cool new way to explore this franchise while also educating yourself on Earth’s many lifeforms. According to The Pokémon International Company, the fossil museum exhibit will come to the Field Museum in Chicago on May 22, 2026.

That feels so close yet far away, but it does take time to bring all of that greatness together. It is not clear how large it will be and if there will be differences from previous exhibitions overseas. We do know that it will be a good time for Trainers of all ages to experience.

Tickets for the event are not on sale yet, but there’s already a website active. You can head there and sign up for updates.

If you wanna go, you’d better get on it fast because, in other exhibits, there was really cool and exclusive Pokémon merchandise. You’re gonna wanna catch it all before scammers do what they do best.
