'The Strangers — Chapter 3' trailer: Maya's nightmare finally ends

Some people have really bad luck. I know my life isn’t perfect, but I certainly wouldn’t want to trade places with Sidney Prescott or Laurie Strode. They have been fighting for their literal lives for decades, and that seems very traumatic and exhausting. But I’d dare say that The Strangers franchise protagonist Maya also fits the bill. She’s been fighting multiple masked psychopaths who are dead set on killing her and the nightmare just keeps on going. Things will finally come to a close in The Strangers – Chapter 3, which just dropped a super brutal trailer.

This concluding chapter of a trilogy will have Maya facing the killers one last time in an effort to survive. And, in the spirit of horror trilogies, things are set to come full circle. Perhaps that means we will find out something about the killers and/or Maya that changes everything we thought we knew.

When you think about it, the pace that these installments kept up is very wild. In a world where it takes years to get sequels, all three films came out in less than two years. Thankfully, the filmmakers and the crew were brilliant enough to get it all done at one time. We love that.
