There's one actor Seth Rogen really wants for season 2 of "The Studio"

The first season of Seth Rogen's Hollywood-skewering Apple TV+ comedy "The Studio" is in the books. Unsurprisingly, a second season has been ordered. The show, in addition to its sharp comedy, became noted for its litany of celebrities looking to skewer the business, and themselves. Not since "The Larry Sanders Show" has a comedy been so enticing to famous people. It wasn't just actors, but directors like Martin Scorsese showed up to much enjoyment.

Of course, the plans are already in the works to get more celebrities for season two. And there is one actor that Rogen is really hoping to get. That would be Mr. "Fast & Furious" himself, Vin Diesel. Rogen, while on Jimmy Kimmel's talk show, expressed his desire to get Vin on board with "The Studio."

As Rogen explained, "For most of the people’s lifetime who are in their twenties now, he’s only ever been Dominic Toretto, ever. So to see him outside of Dominic Toretto to me, would be very exciting." Well, we imagine even some people in their twenties remember the "Riddick" movies or "xXx," and "Saving Private Ryan" is pretty canonical so cinephile twentysomethings have likely seen that too. However, Rogen's point that seeing Diesel not as Dom would be interesting does stand as reasonable to us.

Of course, Diesel is also famously self-aggrandizing and takes himself quite seriously. The longstanding rumor is that Diesel refuses to lose fights in the "Fast & Furious" movies, including to Dwayne Johnson. It seems unlikely Diesel would be done to send himself up. It might be like Steven Seagal hosting "Saturday Night Live."
