Science shows that every third female from age 10 to 40 wants Taylor Swift to perform at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show. Okay, that’s a lie, but there is definitely a horde of fans who’d love to see her up there, and it only feels like a matter of time before she secures the show.
Lil Wayne wanted to perform at Super Bowl LIX in February 2025, as it was in his hometown of New Orleans. While the NOLA native didn’t get the bid, his campaign put him in conversations with legends who should perform at some point.

Drake has been in the public conversation for headlining the halftime show for years. It seems less likely that he’ll get the gig after Kendrick Lamar’s infamous 2025 performance, but he still has fans who’d love for him to have the chance.
Nicki Minaj is one of the best female rappers of all time, and she’s certainly up there with rap legends no matter the gender. There are loads of loyal Barbz who would die to see Minaj on that stage.
Billie Eilish only gains more and more fans with each passing year. Given the trajectory of her career, it seems likely that she’ll make an appearance at the big game at some point, even if it’s singing the national anthem or joining a halftime show headliner as their guest.
It’s been a while since a rock band headlined the halftime show. Rock bands aren’t nearly as ubiquitous as they once were, but Green Day has that nostalgia factor that the performance used to sway toward.
If anyone could pull off a Super Bowl Halftime Performance of only covers, it’s Miley Cyrus. While she certainly has bangers of her own, she’s also proven to be masterful at singing other artists’ songs. Maybe a combination of covers and originals would go over well.

Ariana Grande is one of the best-selling artists of all time. She’s got many, many hits she could perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show. At the very least, she’d be a great addition to someone else’s set.
The Foo Fighters have loads of hits from their years topping the charts, and sometimes, a solid discography is more important than current popularity. Foo Fighters still have tons and tons of fans, and they’d be a great rock option.
Pearl Jam is another good option for a rock group. And recently, many older crowds have been clamoring for a throwback artist, making Pearl Jam an even more appealing choice.

Choosing a Super Bowl Halftime Show performer is tricky because the artist has to prove they have stage presence at an arena. Bad Bunny already proved himself capable by making a cameo in Shakira and Jennifer Lopez’s show. He’d be ready to headline.

Pink has been asked to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show multiple times, but she turned down the offers over the league’s previous treatment of Colin Kaepernick. Rihanna once claimed she’d never do the show for the same reasons, though, so perhaps Pink will change her mind, too.
Justin Bieber has more than proven himself worthy of a Super Bowl Halftime Show performance. The man has a deep discography, and even those who made fun of him at the start of his career would sing along to his early hits.
Britney Spears made an appearance in the Halftime Show at a Super Bowl in the early 2000s, but lots of fans want her to headline. Spears’ songs are just as big of bangers today as they were when they were released.
Elton John has all but retired from performing, but he would make a fantastic Super Bowl headliner. The halftime show would make for one iconic farewell performance.

Ed Sheeran has been selling out stadiums for the majority of his career, and all he’s ever recorded are hits. He might not be the most obvious choice for the Super Bowl Halftime Show, but he’d put on a damn good show.
Post Malone is one of the biggest artists in the world, and he has been for quite some time now. His work spans almost all genres, so there’d be something in his performance for everyone. He knows how to please a crowd.
The country has been begging for a country singer to take on the Super Bowl Halftime Show for a while now, and to many, there’s no better candidate than Morgan Wallen.
