Ti West Surprises Fans With Early Screening of MaXXXine

Ti West surprised unsuspecting fans last night who arrived at the Vista Theater in Hollywood thinking they were showing up for a re-run of Pearl but instead ended up being the first public audience anywhere in the world to see his upcoming film MaXXXine.

Lily Collins, who plays Molly Bennett in MaXXXine, was present at the screening with Ti West as they introduced the screening.

Collins jokingly asked the audience, "Want to see MaXXXine instead?" to which the audience applauded. West then confirmed that they would, in fact, be seeing MaXXXine, and the theater erupted.

"Get ready. It's a f*****g crazy ride," Collins said before she and West left the stage to allow fans to enjoy the screening.

MaXXXine hits theaters on July 5 and features Mia Goth reprising her role from Ti West's 2022 film X.

As per A24, the film's synopsis reads:

In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.

Goth is joined by Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
