Tom Hanks makes special appearance in his son's new country music video

Tom Hanks is a icon of the big screen. He's the most-recent person to win back-to-back acting awards at the Oscars.

Hanks' son Colin is a solid character actor...and then there is Chet Hanks. The eldest child of Tom and his wife, actress and producer Rita Wilson, he's had an interesting go of it in the public eye. Once a rapper, Hanks is now doing the country music thing. However, if your father is a living legend, you can also get some attention for your musical project by getting said father involved.

Chet and the musician Drew Arthur are the duo Something Out West, and are working on a debut album. A couple songs have been released, including "You Better Run." In the video for "You Better Run," Chet riffs on his father's Oscar-winning turn in "Forrest Gump." Sure enough, he also got his dad to pop up in said video.

The ever-reliable Tom Hanks manages to entertain even in his brief appearance. Well, Colin had two early roles in "That Thing You Do!" and "Band of Brothers." Maybe it's only fair.
