TWISTED METAL Season 2 Trailer Introduces the Tournament Lineup and Calypso Chaos

It’s time for the Twisted Metal tournament to commence. Last season, Twisted Metal ended with John not getting quite what he wanted after making a key delivery. He wants to leave after realizing the quiet, blissful life he thought he wanted ain’t it, but instead he’s forced into being Raven’s driver in a tournament. That’s what leads us to Twisted Metal season two, and the trailer gives us our competing lineup and a lot of Calypso chaos.

In the clip, Calypso himself addresses the competitors (and us, the audience), saying that he’s hosting the ultimate tournament. Whomever wins it all will get one special wish. What will it be? Well, we don’t know what that would entail for John, who already experienced what he thought he wanted.

Things will get complicated for him considering that his long-lost sister Dollface and frenemy-turned-lover Quiet are both in the mix. What will they all do? We will have to see, but at least we know that Sweet Tooth will also be in on the fun. In the Twisted Metal season two clip, we get quite a bit of him, complete with his head on fire. A fight to the death is his idea of pure entertainment.

**What Is the Release Date for Twisted Metal Season 2?**

It’s almost time to rev up our engines and get ready for the showdown of a lifetime. Twisted Metal season two will drift onto Peacock with its first three episodes on July 31. The remaining episodes will air weekly every Thursday until the finale on August 28.
